Siliguri witnessed a landmark event in the tourism and hospitality sector as the North Bengal Tourism and Hospitality Conclave 2025, organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), took place on January 11, 2025 at Courtyard by Marriott, Siliguri. The event was chaired by Umang Mittal, Chairman of ICC, and showcased the organization’s commitment to fostering growth and development in the region.

Representing Air IQ, Ajay Kumar Wadhawan emphasized the potential of enhanced aviation operations to contribute significantly to the region’s development. His presentation underscored the critical role of key stakeholders, including AAI Bagdogra, the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MOCA), the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the PMO, and the Governments of West Bengal and India, in empowering North Bengal’s aviation sector.
