
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that the state has received over ₹3,665 crore in investment offers at the recently concluded MP Travel Mart (11-13 October). This type of travel fair will take place in Bhopal on October 11, 12, and 13 each year. After opening the event, he told the media, “It will be a set calendar for everyone associated with the sector.” More than 150 domestic tour operators, more than 700 participants, and more than 100 international specialists from 27 countries are participating in the event, according to the CM.
“This is a real-life example of how popular Madhya Pradesh travel is throughout the world. This is going to be the largest business discussion ever. These gatherings are more than just statistics; they are the cornerstone of a robust international network that will link our business owners to the global marketplace and infuse the state’s economy with fresh vitality,” CM continued. According to the chief minister, the Travel Mart will serve as “a bridge to take the thrill and culture of this land to the world through key investors so that more and more visitors come to this marvellous land.” He described the venture as an attempt to present the “tourism potential of the heart of India before the world.”

According to Yadav, during the tourist event, investment bids totalling more than ₹3,665 crore were received. Vinayak Kalani’s Treasure Group contributed ₹600 crore, the Jagdish Arora group contributed ₹500 crore, Vivek Laddani contributed ₹300 crore, and Sumardhwaj of Malwa Club contributed ₹500 crore, he claimed.
According to him, the investment offers demonstrate the steadfast faith that investors across have in Madhya Pradesh’s future and the policies of the state government.

Positive Steps Taken to Promote MP Tourism
According to Yadav, the recently concluded Travel Mart was hosted in Bhopal for the first time, and comparable tourist events are planned in Rewa, Gwalior, and Ujjain. By holding regional conclaves, he added, efforts were made to expand tourism potential outside of big cities to areas like Sagar and Gwalior-Chambal.

A five-year Memorandum of Understanding was signed by film producer Ekta Kapoor to shoot films in MP. Additionally, actors Raghubir Yadav and Gajraj Rao also inked memorandums of understanding. “A lot of other people have also shown interest,” the CM stated. Regional helicopter services in three regions will soon be launched by the state. CM also informed that a memorandum of agreement had been inked with Bharat Bhavan’s National School of Drama to promote and skill local artists.
