Taking centre stage is the theme “From Sandcastles to Starry Skies,” designed to blend play and purpose across Siyam World, Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, Sun Siyam Vilu Reef, Sun Siyam Iru Veli, and Sun Siyam Olhuveli.

At the heart of the new programming is Kidz World at Siyam World, an expansive, complimentary kids’ club for ages 3 to 11.99. With an ever-evolving calendar of creative workshops, marine adventures, cultural storytelling sessions, and group games, children are invited to explore, discover, and connect in a safe, nurturing environment.
A highlight of the offering is the introduction of Pony Riding Adventures, a first in the Maldives. Young guests can enjoy guided rides on friendly ponies, Cherry, Rose, and Honey, during the calm hours of sunrise and sunset. Open to children aged 4 to 11.99, the experience prioritizes animal welfare and safety, while delivering a magical connection with nature.
Adding to the excitement are Kidz Carnivals and Night Camping Under the Stars, both held twice weekly. From glow-in-the-dark face painting and dancing to cozy tents, telescope viewing, and storytime by starlight, these events offer a true island adventure.
A world of adventure and learning
In addition to recreational fun, Sun Siyam Resorts introduces education-driven activities that allow children to explore the marine world, sustainability practices, and team sports. The signature Football Escapes programme lets kids train with global football stars during themed weeks, while marine biologists at select resorts lead child-friendly eco-sessions.
Water enthusiasts can dive into the action at Siyam Water World, the Maldives’ largest floating water park, included for all Siyam World guests. Additional adrenaline-fueled options like go-karting, e-surfboarding, and jet car rides are available for older children and families.
Wellness: Bonding through spa experiences
At Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, families can unwind together with wellness offerings designed for all ages. A highlight is the Peas in a Pod programme, which allows parents and children to enjoy spa treatments side-by-side, creating beautiful bonding moments. Also at Iru Fushi, the Koamas Kidz Club brings the resort’s “Kids, Our King” philosophy to life. With beach games, arts and crafts, nature walks, kids’ yoga sessions, and Maldivian storytelling, it offers a rich mix of recreation, culture, and mindfulness from sunrise to sunset.
Island adventures begin at Maakanaa Kidz, Sun Siyam Olhuveli
Inspired by the island’s resident Heron, Maakanaa Kidz at Sun Siyam Olhuveli offers a vibrant, ever-evolving programme designed to keep young guests engaged through play, learning, and discovery. Open daily for children aged 3 to 12, the club delivers a rotating calendar of activities that blends Maldivian culture with hands-on creativity and outdoor fun.
From coconut painting and palm leaf folding to mini yoga sessions, beach Olympics, and tube rides, every day is crafted to entertain and inspire. Evening programmes include storytelling, movie nights, and mini discos. Babysitting services are also available upon request.
