To commemorate this milestone, the resort hosted a heartfelt series of anniversary celebrations in appreciation of its guests, beginning with a Sunset Cocktail Reception hosted by the General Manager. Entertainment for the night included live performances from a local band and a DJ, adding a lively and memorable touch to the celebration.

In 2025, the resort was honoured as Indian Ocean’s Leading New Resort and Maldives’ Leading Luxury Island Resort and was named Best Luxury Island Resort at the 2025 World Luxury Travel Awards. The resort also received accolades for its family-friendly offerings and for SPA By JW, which was celebrated for its design and overwater experiences. Additional recognition includes Best Emerging Resort at the TTM Awards, alongside nominations from DestinAsian and Condé Nast Traveler Middle East, which highlights the resort’s standing as a premier Maldives destination. Within its inaugural year, the resort proudly achieved Green Globe certification—a testament to its unwavering dedication to sustainable practices.

During the first year, immersive wellness retreats, including Soulful Feasts by Stephanie Zubiri, guided guests through renewal, gratitude, and alignment of body, mind, and spirit. Culinary experiences also shone throughout the year, with Michelin-starred Chef-Owner Stefan Fath of Restaurant Jellyfish Hamburg delivering an intimate two-night dining experience focused on creativity, connection, and mindful indulgence. The first festive season welcomed guests with thoughtfully curated experiences, including dining under the stars, bespoke culinary moments such as caviar tastings, wine and cheese pairings, and immersive garden-to- table cooking classes, along with joyful family traditions, festive gatherings, and restorative moments at SPA By JW.
