A well-recognised name in India’s tourism and hospitality sector, Vineet Gopal brings more than 26 years of experience in global tourism strategy, destination marketing, luxury travel, MICE, hospitality consulting, government liaisoning, and international business development.
Over the years, he has collaborated with several international tourism boards, convention bureaus, hospitality brands, and luxury travel companies. His professional portfolio includes associations with organisations such as the Reunion Island Tourism Board, Bali Tourism Promotion Board, Visit Iceland, Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, and Palazzo Versace Dubai, among others.
An award-winning tourism professional, Vineet is also an Executive Board Member and Founding Member of the Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI). He has additionally held leadership positions within national travel associations and is the author of the widely discussed book, Indian Outbound Tourism 2030: Why India Matters?, which explores the future potential of India’s outbound tourism market and the rising influence of Indian travellers globally.
In his new role, Vineet will focus on strengthening corporate relations, strategic alliances, stakeholder engagement, government and industry coordination, hospitality expansion support, and asset management initiatives for the group’s growing hospitality portfolio.
Backed by the legacy of India Exposition Mart Limited (IEML), INDEVA Hotels & Resorts is positioning itself as a future-ready hospitality brand with a diversified portfolio spanning luxury hotels, upper mid-scale properties, lifestyle retreats, and corporate hospitality experiences.
The company currently operates and is developing several hospitality brands including The Shikina – Luxury Collection, Expoinn Suites & Convention, Plume Hotels, Irise Hotels, The Mor Stays, and Sāraṅga Retreats. These brands cater to a wide range of traveller segments, from luxury and corporate travellers to experiential and wellness-focused guests.
INDEVA’s existing portfolio includes operational properties such as Expoinn Suites & Convention, Plume Hotels, and Mor Stays in Greater Noida, alongside upcoming developments in Pune, Mohali, and Mathura. The company is also pursuing an ambitious expansion roadmap with nearly 10 hospitality projects currently in the pipeline across multiple destinations in India.
