Taking place after a gap of 18 months, there are great expectations from the IATO Convention this year and looking at the concerted efforts being made by the entire team, it certainly appears to be the highlight for the tourism sector at this point in time. So what is special about the IATO Convention this year, we asked its Senior VP and here is what he said – “Every IATO Convention is different and better from the previous one. These conventions are always planned in an extremely serious and professional manner by its team. Plenty of thought and planning is put in while deciding the Theme, Business Sessions, Speakers and more. The focus is always that a delegate should go back enriched after having attended the convention.”
Stating that the IATO Convention this year has many peculiarities, Mr. Najeeb said, “We are all meeting after 18 months and during this time, each and every individual has gone through unimaginable agonies. From losing a family member, industry colleague to loss of business, the times were testing for us all. The 36th IATO Convention is offering the greatest opportunity to reunite together, with balance sheets and balanced strengths!!”
Going forward, he has urged the industry to open up its heart and genuinely brainstorm for finding a way forward. “On this wondrous platform being provided by IATO, we all must sincerely put in our hearts and mind and together find the road to recovery for tourism. We must all stand united and light the lamp, with the support of the government, to find a balanced way forward,” he concluded.
