Prior to joining Hyatt in 2023, she spent 12 years with IHCL, developing a strong skill set in relationship building, strategic planning, and project management. During her time at Hyatt Place Hyderabad Banjara Hills, Xenia demonstrated a strong ability to enhance guest satisfaction, foster team collaboration, and implement innovative revenue strategies. She plans to bring this same dynamic approach to Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai, focusing on personalised service, unique guest experiences, and strategic growth.
Hospitality is more than a career for Xenia; it’s a way of life, deeply rooted in her family legacy. Her name, Xenia, meaning “hospitable” in Greek, reflects her lifelong passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
“Hospitality is a passion that extends beyond a career,” says Xenia. “I am excited to lead the team at Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai and create a dynamic, community-focused environment. My focus will be on elevating our guest experience, positioning Sesame as a premier dining destination, and solidifying the hotel’s reputation as a leading boutique hotel in Mumbai.”
Growing up surrounded by world-class hospitality, she developed a keen understanding of service excellence from an early age. This early exposure is further enhanced by a prestigious Master’s degree in Gastronomy obtained from the renowned University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy. Additionally, she has pursued extensive education in both Hospitality and Business Administration, equipping her with a comprehensive skill set that bridges culinary artistry with keen business acumen.
She envisions Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai as a cultural and community-driven space, where personalized experiences and genuine human connection are paramount. She is also committed to keeping up with the ever-evolving technological needs of the modern traveler, and to keep the hotel at the forefront of the Mumbai hospitality scene.
Xenia’s leadership philosophy is built on empowerment, collaboration, and guest-centricity. She firmly believes in the power of symbiotic associations, where the strength of a team lies in the equal contributions of each member, as reflected in the proverb, “Solo se llega más rápido, pero juntos se llega más lejos,” meaning “Alone you go faster, but together you go further.” She is committed to fostering a team culture that values individual contributions and shared achievements. Beyond her professional expertise, Xenia is a published author, food and travel writer, artist, and polyglot, currently pursuing Spanish. This diverse background provides her with a unique perspective on leadership and guest engagement.
