Why India is a key strategic market for GlobalTix, driven by outbound growth and experience-led demand. What trends do you observe in the India market?
India is one of the fastest-growing outbound travel markets globally. Indian travellers are no longer just booking trips but are seeking curated experiences. Agents are becoming tech savvy and are looking at reliable platforms for them to grow together with. Hence, this makes India a strategic long-term market for GlobalTix.
Which are your top five source markets?
South-east Asia continued to be one of the biggest regions. In East Asia, we see significant traction in Japan, as well as Middle-east and Europe.
How does GlobalTix’s India growth strategy focus on deep trade partnerships, high-conversion products, and scalable distribution?
Our India growth strategy focuses on three key areas. First, we build long-term relationships with Indian travel agents and wholesalers, working closely with them and marketing their products. We prioritise high- demand products such as theme parks and iconic attractions. We have recently added Disney Cruises to that segment. Third, using agent portal API integrations and automated ticketing helps our partners book faster, thereby getting instant confirmation and reducing the overall operational workload.
