Mr. Sadip Lama, who hails from Bijanbari, Darjeeling started off as a Govt. Contractor and Supplier in 2005, along with it he formed Yashshree Co. & M/S Sadip Lama in the year 2010 and took off as a proprietor. These two companies entertained themselves in the world of Real Estate, Construction & Supply and formed another partnership with SPARK CONSTRUCTION Company, in the year 2014 and has been running successfully till date.
While running a successful real estate brand, Mr. Lama established Sumi Yashshree Hotels & Resort in April 2019 ( The Luxury Hotel Chain in the Eastern Himalayas ) where Tin-Tin, a small boutique resort at Bijanbari, Darjeeling was the first milestone towards the Hotel Industry.
Sumi Yashshree is a luxury hotel chain nestled amidst the Eastern Himalayas, where they privately own their properties in Darjeeling, Sikkim & Mussoorie, with the utmost priority to bring core competency in the hospitality industry by offering excellent service to their customers.
Mr. Lama strongly believes in giving back to the community and henceforth, he actively functions in assisting & providing to the needful community via his non-profit organization namely Yashshree Foundation, Darjeeling which was founded in the year 2020 and is currently working on establishing a Grandeur OLD AGE HOME & ORPHANAGE HOSTEL at Bijanbari, which shapes the Sumi Yashshree’s work identity and atmosphere.
Sumi Yashshree started to indulge in the delightful flavors of Asia & started off with Sumi Nom-Nom, Bakery & Korean Cafe in the year 2021 at Darjeeling where it brings an authentic taste of Asian Culinary Delights & along with it Sumi Noor, The Biryani House was also introduced, in the same running year. With the vision of bringing the real taste of Biryani and Indian Cuisine to the hills, Sumi Noor was introduced. To date, Sumi Nom-Nom & Sumi Noor has introduced more than two outlets in West Bengal & Sikkim.
The future looks promising for Sumi Yashshree Hotels & Resort, as they are actively expanding their presence pan India with their best hospitality experience.
