In his address, Mr. Joyson, the newly appointed Chairman, highlighted the association’s vision for the year ahead. “At its core, ETAA is a vibrant networking platform and a knowledge hub. Our focus will be on consistent engagement through bi-monthly events in Bengaluru and expanding our reach to tier-2 cities. We also aim to secure better deals from airlines, hotels, and suppliers to benefit our members’ businesses directly,” he said. He further stressed the importance of vigilance against industry scams and errors that could lead to financial losses.
Under the leadership of the new committee, ETAA South Chapter is set to strengthen its connections with tourism boards, DMCs, and airlines worldwide. The diverse expertise of the committee members is expected to foster innovative initiatives and industry collaborations throughout the term.
The announcement was marked by an exclusive Destination Knowledge Session spotlighting four emerging destinations — Georgia, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Armenia. Curated by Volshebny Holidays LLP, a leading DMC with deep expertise in the CIS region, the session provided valuable insights for members.
The interactive presentation, led by Mr. Hashtip Bhavsar and Ms. Urmi Bhavsar, along with strategic inputs from co-founders Mr. Manish Bhavsar and Mr. Yatin Bhavsar, equipped attendees with in-depth destination knowledge and tailored travel solutions for the Indian outbound market.
The evening concluded with a lively networking cocktail dinner at The Pride Hotel, Bangalore, where members exchanged ideas and explored future business opportunities.
