Her expertise spans spa therapies, breathwork, medical cosmetology, body treatments, beauty, yoga, and nutrition. Beyond work, Dr Raisa Sanam is an avid traveller drawn to diverse cultures and wellness traditions and finds mindfulness through painting and cooking. Her art and culinary pursuits reflect her deep connection to self-expression, nutrition, and mindful living.
Her role as Director of Wellness and Spa includes spearheading the implementation of the resort’s wellness initiatives, overseeing day-to-day spa operations, and driving revenue strategies. She will focus on enhancing treatments, products and services in line with evolving guest expectations while leading recruitment, training and team development. She will also establish and implement standard operating procedures, monitor operational controls and expenses, and develop new wellness packages to support business growth and revenue generation.
Prior to joining Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley Resort & Spa, Dr. Raisa Sanam held leadership roles with renowned hospitality and wellness brands, including The Oberoi, The Tamara Leisure Experiences, Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited (MHRIL), and Yogasha Qatar. Throughout her career, she has led spa pre-openings, developed signature wellness programmes and healthcare packages, established operational standards and SOPs, monitored therapy protocols, and implemented quality control frameworks to ensure operational efficiency.
Her experience at MHRIL and Yogasha Qatar further strengthened her expertise in holistic wellness, preventive healthcare and personalised therapeutic programmes. She has also driven business growth through strategic planning, market expansion, revenue and budget management, financial analysis, product and service innovation, team development, and sustainability-led practices, while continuously enhancing spa offerings to meet evolving guest expectations.

Dr. Raisa Sanam holds a BNYS from Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, along with postgraduate qualifications in Functional Medicine and Counselling Psychology, reflecting her multidisciplinary approach to integrative wellness. In her new role, she will oversee all wellness and spa operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, operational efficiency, restorative offerings, and sustainable business growth while delivering memorable experiences for every guest.
