Domestic tour operators & J&K Tourism host promotional road-show inviting people to visit

Continuing with their efforts to boost tourism flow to Jammu & Kashmir, a tourism promotional road show was conducted on February 25, 2019 at Hotel Plaza. The road show was organised by Domestic Tour Operators Association of Jammu and Kashmir (DTOAK) in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Tourism. All senior officials from the department, including Tourism Minister V Srinivas Goud, Tourism Secretary B Venkatesham, Commissioner of Tourism Sunita M Bhagwat, Director Finance of J&K tourism, President of Federation of Telangana Chamber of Commerce and Industry are expected to be present along with the leading tour and travel operators of the city. The event showcased the various tourism attractions that this beautifully mesmerizing state of J&K has to offer from the wide bouquet of its culture and heritage. The event is also held in the aftermath of the recent terror attack, in an endeavour to send the message across to the people that “J&K is a safe tourism destination”.
