These modern, low-floor, and emission-free vehicles are designed to enhance the tourist experience and boost eco-tourism initiatives. The first bus was provided by the Hinduja Group as part of their CSR program.
CM Rekha Gupta said that the service will operate on a fixed tourism circuit, covering Delhi’s most iconic cultural, historical, and heritage landmarks. The inaugural route began at the Shaheed Smarak and includes destinations such as the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya. Pre-booking options will be available for passengers. Kapil Mishra, Cabinet Minister, Government of Delhi, added, “We are planning to introduce two more buses for tourists in the near future.”
The tourism department will manage the bus along a dedicated route connecting key landmarks in central Delhi. The proposed circuit includes Bharat Mandapam, the National War Memorial, the New Parliament complex, and Dilli Haat.
