MSC Cruises, known as the Masters of the Sea, is a family-owned cruise line with an extensive fleet of modern ships. They are represented by ClickMyCruise in India and are known for their amazing onboard experiences, gastronomical offerings, and entertainment shows. A knowledge session was recently held to spotlight this diverse range of experiences onboard MSC Cruises to travel agents in Mumbai.

Present at the event were Nalini Gupta – Managing Director, ClickMyCruise & Lotus Destinations and Vasundhara Gupta – Director, ClickMyCruise, who delivered an engaging presentation on the cruise line and Vistasp Major, Founder and Director, ClickMyCruise. A Q&A and a High Tea followed the session.

Sharing her views on the Cruise segment, Nalini Gupta said, “In the past few years, we have witnessed an impressive growth in the Cruise segment with increasing demand for charters, weddings, and MICE Groups. When MSC started expanding their fleet size and invited us to become a part of their front in India, we readily took on the offer as we see immense potential in the India market. Customers prefer to work with someone who has in-depth product knowledge. Despite technological advancements, strong product expertise, along with good pricing and service, is essential to win business. The cruise market has expanded significantly from Singapore and domestic markets to Europe, Antarctica, and South America. The market is as big as you ought to make it! At present, India contributes to only half the passenger numbers, but it is a market which starts slowly but scales rapidly”.
Vasundhara Gupta said, “Over the last two years since the beginning of our partnership with MSC Cruises, we have been spreading awareness about the product, the beautiful itineraries and the exceptional experiences onboard their state-of-the-art ships globally. The objective behind today’s initiative was to educate all the travel agents about the product and to showcase why MSC Cruises is one of the best cruise liners to recommend to their clients”.
Speaking about the recent trends, she remarked ,”The interest has been more towards the North European itineraries across the Norwegian Fjords, which is covered by one of the best ships. Indian travellers are also seeking shorter itineraries- three to four nights which are available in MSC Cruises in April and May. MSC Cruises has becoming one of the largest cruise companies over the past decade with a diverse fleet of ships to offer, and at present they rank number one in Europe, South Africa, South America and wish very soon they would become the number one cruise liner in India”.
A Europe Fam Trip announcement was also made for the best performing agents to be held in Nov-Dec 2026.
