Ian James has a considerable background as he had previously served as General Manager at The Fellows House, Curio Collection by Hilton in Cambridge. For the past ten years, he worked as a manager and held many positions in the UK within Hilton, showing a continued dedication to bettering the quality of the guests’ experience and the operation of their properties.
Ian’s new responsibility will involve managing the operations of Cheval Gloucester Park and Lexham Gardens by Cheval Maison: the most exclusive service and luxurious comfort, with his broad background aligning well with Cheval Collection’s expansion strategy to reach 1,000 units worldwide, with a new property set to be announced this year.

Cheval Collection has nine locations operating in London. Further openings internationally follow, the recent opening of the Cheval Maison – Expo City Dubai, bringing its global portfolio up to over 950 units. Other upcoming developments include the launch of Cheval Ladun Living in Saudi Arabia in Riyadh in 2027.
