At a tourism reception hosted by Tourism New Zealand, the Right Honourable Christoper Luxon, Prime Minister of New Zealand, witnessed the signing of a MoU between Air India and Air New Zealand to explore the potential for direct connectivity, which would make New Zealand more accessible than ever for Indian travellers. Additionally, a series of initiatives have been announced to remove traditional barriers, streamline booking processes and create compelling new reasons for Indian visitors to visit New Zealand.
IATO hosts final interactive luncheon meeting of the current EC
The Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) held its final Interactive Luncheon Meeting of the current tenure at Hotel Jaypee Siddharth, New Delhi. President Rajiv Mehra expressed gratitude for the support received during his four-year term and hinted at upcoming elections. Vice President Ravi Gosain informed members about IATO’s recent initiatives and future plans, stating that a new Executive Committee would take charge after the elections in the coming months.

ixigo and Amadeus sign an enhanced Travel Distribution Partnership
ixigo has partnered with Amadeus to enhance its airline content offering. Through this collaboration, ixigo will integrate Amadeus’ advanced EDIFACT (Electronic Data Interchange for Administration, Commerce and Transport) and NDC (New Distribution Capability) content into its platform.
