CABI by SKIL, under the SKIL Group, has just unveiled the Pink Module as a pilot project in Bengaluru wherein the one-of-its-kind initiative aims to provide women passengers with a safe and comfortable commuting experience by introducing women drivers who are specially trained in undisputable service and self-defence. Following the service’s success in the Indian Silicon Valley, it will be extended to other metros and Tier-II, III cities.
Specializing for over two decades in providing seamless, quality cab-hailing experience, CABI has been the preferred choice for corporate and executive travellers. The company’s commitment to safety and customer satisfaction is deeply embedded in its ethos and the Pink Module is yet another initiative that extends the brand’s promise of quality services to the customers. The new initiative will offer women passengers a sense of security and peace during their solo journeys.
Speaking about the initiative, Vikash Kejriwal, COO, SKIL Travel, said, “Women’s safety is paramount, especially when travelling alone or at night. Our Pink Module initiative is in response to cater to this need, creating a more inclusive environment for cab hailing. By providing women drivers who are trained in self-defense, we are looking to create a safer and empowering environment for our women passengers.”
