Air India Express unveiled its new cabin interiors aboard its latest Boeing 737-8 aircraft (VT-BWD) at Mumbai Airport, marking another milestone in its transformation journey. The aircraft features Tsüngkotepsü-inspired tail art celebrating the warrior heritage of the Ao Nagas. Upgrades include ergonomic leather seats, USB charging ports, ovens for hot ‘Gourmair’ meals, new carpets, and Boeing Sky Interior lighting.

Etihad Airways and Ethiopian Airlines have expanded their collaboration by launching a frequent flyer partnership under their strategic Joint Venture. Etihad Guest and ShebaMiles members can now earn and redeem miles across both airlines’ extensive networks. The launch follows Etihad’s inaugural Abu Dhabi–Addis Ababa flight on October 8. The partnership strengthens connectivity and offers passengers enhanced flexibility, exclusive rewards, and seamless travel.

“The Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with ICPB, needs to develop a model for establishing city-level MICE bureaus at key destinations to promote and facilitate the growth of MICE tourism. These bureaus will work with public and private stakeholders on strategic planning, branding and marketing support, capacity building, and bid assistance. Each bureau should ideally function under a public–private partnership (PPP) model. Another crucial area of collaboration is transforming India’s convention bureaus to operate like leading global bureaus.”
