Indians set new spending record in Japan in Q1 FY 2024
The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) Delhi office has shared the latest inbound consumption trends from the Japan Tourism Agency, revealing a surge in travel spending by foreign visitors. Indian visitors to Japan are contributing significantly to Japan’s travel economy spending 19.2 billion yen (approx. INR10,768 million) during the April-June period of 2024, a remarkable 120.7% increase from the pre-pandemic levels.

This new property, featuring 157 rooms, is expected to be operational by the second quarter of 2027 and will create over 250 job opportunities across various functions.
Lemon Tree Hotels signs a new property in Aurangabad
Lemon Tree Hotels has signed a license agreement viz Lemon Tree Hotel in Adalat Road, Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The property shall be managed by Carnation Hotels and is expected to open in FY 2028. This hotel will feature 60 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, a banquet hall, a meeting room, a swimming pool, a spa and other public areas.
