Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart 2025 to debut in Bhopal
For the first time, the Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart (MPTM) will be held in Bhopal from 11–13 October 2025. The landmark event will bring together national and international buyers, media representatives, influencers, and bloggers to explore the state’s diverse offerings. Highlighting wildlife, heritage, spirituality, adventure, and rural tourism, MPTM aims to position Madhya Pradesh as a premier destination on the global travel map.
Air India Express launches daily Indore–Goa flights from October 26
Air India Express, India’s fastest-growing airline, is set to launch daily flights between Indore and Goa (Dabolim International Airport) starting October 26, 2025. The new route enhances connectivity between central India and one of the country’s most popular beach destinations. Bookings are open on airindiaexpress.com, the mobile app, and leading travel portals.
IndiGo expands Delhi hub with new routes to Bali, Krabi & Manchester
IndiGo announced major expansion from its Delhi hub, launching new international routes to Denpasar–Bali (daily from Oct 24), Krabi (four weekly from Oct 26), and Manchester (four weekly from Nov 15). The carrier will also double daily flights to Bangkok. On the domestic front, IndiGo adds 10 new daily routes, including Rajkot, Patna, Goa, Nagpur, and a new destination—Purnea in Bihar. The move strengthens IndiGo’s international reach and domestic network connectivity.
Meghalaya unveils India’s first Tourism Helpline
Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma launched India’s first multilingual tourism helpline (1800-599-2026) in Meghalaya, available daily in seven languages. The state also unveiled a revamped tourism website with booking tools and itineraries. Sangma announced 210 tourism projects worth ₹3,625 crore and plans to build 3,000 new homestays ahead of the 2027 National Games. With 18.3 lakh tourists in 2024, Meghalaya aims to double its arrivals in coming years through improved infrastructure and accessibility.
