Ethiopian Airlines expands India reach with Hyderabad route
Ethiopian Airlines has launched thrice-weekly flights to Hyderabad, marking its fifth destination in India. Inaugurated on June 16, 2025, the new route enhances connectivity between Africa and India, supporting trade and tourism. The service operates on Mon, Wed, Sat from Addis Ababa, and Tue, Thu, Sat from Hyderabad. This move reinforces Ethiopian’s commitment to India’s growing travel market and strengthens its global network.
Lemon Tree Hotels appoints new President and VP
Lemon Tree Hotels has appointed Vishvapreet Singh Cheema as President and Niket Sood as Vice President – Commercial Strategy. Vishvapreet brings 30 years of experience with global hospitality brands, most recently leading IHG’s South West Asia operations. Niket, with nearly two decades in the industry, joins from Accor where he drove market share growth. These appointments strengthen Lemon Tree’s strategic leadership and growth plans.
