Couples dominate Republic Day long weekend hotel bookings
Couples led hotel bookings during the Republic Day long weekend, accounting for nearly 40% of total reservations, according to data from Adara, a RateGain company. Based on bookings made between October and December 2025, the trend highlights a shift towards shared leisure getaways. Families followed closely at 37%, while solo travellers made up 24%. The period also saw strong domestic growth and rising demand for short-haul international and experiential destinations.
