TAFI Western India hosts power-packed Stakeholders’ Showcase 2025
The TAFI Western India Chapter’s Stakeholders Showcase 2025 drew an impressive turnout, with over 160 travel professionals from Mumbai and Pune and participation from 13 leading travel and tourism brands. Chairman Jay Kantawala set the tone with a warm welcome, followed by Secretary Arun Iyer who laid out the evening’s agenda and invited partners on stage. A key highlight was the presentation by Sharad Gowani, Head – West & South India, VFS Global, and Anahita Avari, Head – Sales South Asia, who unveiled exclusive value-added offerings for TAFI members.
Cross Hotels & Resorts signs 115-key Cross Bali Waluya, opening 2029
Cross Hotels & Resorts has inked a hotel management deal with PT Agungwaluya Kuta Pengembang for the upcoming Cross Bali Waluya, a 115-key resort set to open in 2029 in Bali’s trendy Berawa neighbourhood. The resort will feature a mix of one-bedroom suites, penthouses with Jacuzzis, and multi-bedroom residences with private rooftops, lap pools, and wellness-focused amenities. Guests can enjoy a spa, fitness centre, infinity pool, kids’ zone, plunge pool, restaurant, and bar—delivering a full-spectrum luxury experience under the Cross brand.
IndiGo shifts operations from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 at IGI Airport
IndiGo has announced that effective 15 April 2025, all its flights arriving to and departing from Terminal 2 will operate to/from Terminal 1. With implementation of this change, IndiGo will now operate from Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi. IndiGo has taken proactive measures to ensure that its customers are well-informed about this change. The airline is reaching out to all passengers and their respective travel agents through SMS, calls, and emails to notify them.
