Air India and Air India Express appoint DNATA as their representative in UAE
Air India and Air India Express have announced the appointment of dnata as their General Sales Agent (GSA) and Representative Agency (RA), respectively, in the UAE. The agreement was formally signed at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 in Dubai. Under this partnership, dnata will provide comprehensive sales, marketing, and distribution support to both carriers across the UAE, excluding Abu Dhabi and Al Ain for Air India.
IRCTC takes Indians on Japan Bullet Train Tour
Nearly 30 travellers from Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore recently experienced Japan’s iconic bullet train journey—covering the Osaka–Hiroshima and Hiroshima–Tokyo stretches—courtesy of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). The 11-day tour, which concluded on April 6, was IRCTC’s first international initiative after being granted ‘Navratna’ status by the Government of India in March 2025.
UP to organise statewide awareness camps to promote tourism
To ensure that investors across the state receive the benefits of Uttar Pradesh Tourism Policy 2022, the Tourism Department is launching a large-scale awareness campaign. As part of this initiative, camps will be held in every district, aimed at informing and engaging potential investors. Principal Secretary, Tourism and Culture Mukesh Kumar Meshram will address participants virtually through video conferencing, highlighting key provisions and opportunities under the policy.

IndiGo has been recognized as ‘Partner of the Year’ at the 18th edition of the Changi Airline Awards 2025, reaffirming the airline’s enduring and successful partnership with Changi Airport Group. IndiGo has risen to become Changi’s fifth largest foreign carrier by passenger traffic and now operates over 70 weekly services between India and Singapore, which is 53% more compared to pre-Covid levels.
