Numen Hospitality expands presence in Varanasi with Hotel Meera Palace
Numen Hospitality has expanded its portfolio with the addition of Hotel Meera Palace in Varanasi. Located in the prime Mahmoorganj area, the boutique property offers modern rooms, in-house dining and guest services for both leisure and business travellers. The hotel also enjoys close proximity to Varanasi’s iconic ghats and temples. With this addition, Numen Hospitality further strengthens its footprint in key destinations and will now manage the Sales & Marketing operations for Hotel Meera Palace.
Shillong Airport expansion to boost tourism
Meghalaya is set for a major connectivity boost with the Centre approving and awarding the contract for Shillong Airport’s runway expansion. The project is expected to allow larger aircraft to land in Shillong, improving access for tourists, business travellers and residents. The development is also likely to support Meghalaya’s eco-tourism, adventure travel and cultural tourism offerings across the Northeast.

Lemon Tree Hotels has announced the opening of Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels, Amritsar, strengthening its presence in North India. The hotel is positioned to cater to Amritsar’s growing pilgrimage, leisure and business travel demand.
BHVL plans ₹1,000 crore Karnataka expansion
Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited has announced an investment roadmap of around ₹1,000 crore in Karnataka over the next five years, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of Grand Mercure Mysuru. The plan includes new hospitality projects as well as modernisation of existing assets. The expansion aims to tap Karnataka’s growing experiential tourism demand and strengthen BHVL’s presence in the state.
