DGCA mandates airlines to inform passengers of rights via SMS, WhatsApp
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has directed airlines to actively inform passengers about their rights and regulations. Airlines must share the passenger charter link via SMS or WhatsApp upon ticket booking. This information should also be prominently displayed on tickets and airline websites to ensure awareness, the DGCA stated.
