Air India launches non-stop flights between Delhi and Manila
Air India will start non-stop flights between Delhi and Manila from October 1, 2025, becoming the only carrier to offer direct connectivity between India and the Philippines. The five-times-a-week service (Mon, Wed, Thu, Sat, Sun) will use Airbus A321neo aircraft, featuring Business, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins. This strategic route aims to enhance tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between the two nations, leveraging Delhi as a key hub for seamless international travel.
TTM+ 2025 in Chiang Mai to spotlight sustainable tourism
Thailand Travel Mart Plus (TTM+) 2025, hosted by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, will be held from 4 to 6 June in Chiang Mai. This year’s edition focuses on sustainability, digital transformation, and soft power. The event will highlight Thailand’s ‘Five Must-Do’ travel experiences, promote Lanna culture, and support local businesses in adopting responsible tourism practices. IndiGo and Garuda Indonesia sign codeshare agreement
IndiGo and Garuda Indonesia have announced a codeshare partnership to offer expanded connectivity between India and Indonesia. The agreement enables IndiGo customers to access 17 new destinations in Indonesia, while Garuda Indonesia passengers can travel to seven Indian cities. Flights will be seamlessly connected via Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, and Bali. The partnership simplifies travel with single-ticket bookings and through-checked baggage, ensuring a smoother, more convenient travel experience for leisure and business travellers across both nations.
