Air India signs 4 interline deals to expand Europe, Asia reach
Air India has entered into interline partnerships with airBaltic, Bulgaria Air, Cyprus Airways, and Uzbekistan Airways. Announced during the 81st IATA AGM in New Delhi, the agreements open up access to 16 additional destinations across six countries in Europe and Central Asia. These partnerships will facilitate smoother travel options for Air India passengers and improve inbound connectivity to India, expanding the airline’s global reach and strengthening its strategic presence in emerging international markets.

Virgin Atlantic has renewed its strategic partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for seven more years, reinforcing a 20-year collaboration. The focus is to modernize the airline’s core operations through a cloud-first, AI-powered digital transformation. The initiative aims to boost business agility, enhance system resilience, and deliver a seamless customer experience. This collaboration will also support Virgin Atlantic’s efforts in modern airline retailing and scaling operations efficiently for future growth.
Cygnett Hotels expands in Itanagar
Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has signed a new hotel in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh its second in the city and part of its broader expansion strategy in Northeast India. Located near the Donyi Polo Airport, the hotel is expected to open within two years. With this addition, Cygnett progresses toward its 600-key target in the region. The brand currently runs four hotels in Northeast India and has eight more properties in the pipeline under various development stages.
