Bhutan holds roadshow in Indian cities to boost summer tourism
Keen to attract more Indian tourists to the country, the Bhutanese government held an inaugural Indian Tourism Roadshow, across Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata, from June 17 to 21, that saw enthusiastic response. Celebrating 50 years of Bhutanese tourism, the event attracted over 700 Indian travel agents and 600 companies, showcasing exclusive offers from 18 Bhutanese exhibitors.
Etihad Airways operates first flight to Al Qassim
Etihad Airways has started its flights to Al Qassim, marking the first flight ever connecting the UAE’s capital with Al Qassim in the central region of KSA. The new route becomes Etihad’s fourth destination to Saudi Arabia and offers guests four non-stop flights per week. This service will enhance connectivity between KSA and the rest of the world through Abu Dhabi.
ETAA North India hosted a FAM Trip to Vietnam
The ETAA North India committee organised a successful Educational Trip of 26 members to the Ho Chi Minh City and Ho Tram in Vietnam from May 24 – 27, 2024. Saurabh Tuteja Chairperson ETAA along with PunitBhasin Senior Vice Chairman, Deepika Khanna General Secretary, Praveen Ghai Treasurer, Gaurav Arora – Joint Secretary and Arush Mittal – Alliance Head were all present at the event.
Moscow summarizes the results of the first BRICS tourism forum
All India 25.06.24 The first BRICS Tourism Forum, which brought together over 600 leading experts, business and government representatives from the BRICS countries, has solemnly concluded in Moscow. As part of the business program, 12 commercial agreements were signed among representatives of the tourism business sector and creation of BRICS Tourism Cities Club was also announced.
