
Dusit expands India presence with Rishikesh wellness retreat
Dusit International has signed a hotel management agreement with Atmosphere to develop Dusit Princess Rishikesh in Uttarakhand. Scheduled to open in 2031, the wellness-focused project will feature 300 rooms and villas, along with a spa, yoga facilities, infinity pool, and recreational amenities. Located near Rishikesh, the development reflects growing demand for wellness, spirituality, and experience-led travel in India.
Air India introduces Easy Connect flights from Varanasi
Air India will launch its first Easy Connect flight from Varanasi on June 25 under the Government of India’s hub-and-spoke model. The daily Varanasi–Delhi service will allow passengers to complete baggage check-in and immigration formalities at their origin airport before connecting to 17 international destinations. The initiative is designed to simplify global travel for passengers from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities and will be expanded to more Indian cities in phases.
