“Amid economic restructuring due to a challenging balance of trade, Sri Lanka is focusing on tourism as a key means to foster positive growth. To enhance our reputation as a golfing destination, seven more grand golf courses are under development. We are also designating large resorts to exhibit the splendour of Sri Lanka’s landscapes. Our strategy includes creatively utilising railways to offer diverse travel experiences, and promoting boutique hotels nestled in our rich plantations. We take pride in our vast array of delectable cuisine, vibrant dance traditions, and unique culture, striving to make Sri Lanka a well-known travel destination. Importantly, we see Asia as a vital market and eagerly anticipate welcoming an increasing number of tourists.”
