Jamaica welcomes 2.3 million visitors since January 2025
Jamaica’s tourism industry continues to show strong and steady growth, with the destination recording 2.3 million visitor arrivals and earning USD 2.4 billion in tourism revenue between January and June 2025. The figures were shared by Minister of Tourism, Hon. Edmund Bartlett, during the recently concluded ‘Christmas in July’ trade show in Kingston. The data marks a promising trajectory for Jamaica’s tourism rebound.
IATO raises red flag over sharp decline in FTAs in 2025
Highlighting the urgent need to revitalize India’s inbound tourism, Ravi Gosain, President, IATO, stated in a recent press release that “India’s inbound tourism is a sleeping giant.” Emphasizing the country’s rich cultural assets, he called for stronger public-private partnerships, simplified visa processes, and aggressive global marketing. “The time to act is not tomorrow; it is now,” Gosain asserted.

Saudia Group ranks first globally in on-time performance for June 2025
According to the June 2025 report by Cirium, Saudia ranked first worldwide in both departure and arrival on-time performance. The airline operated over 16,700 flights during the month, achieving a 91.33% on-time arrival rate and a 90.69% on-time departure rate. flyadeal, Saudia Group’s low-cost carrier, also ranked first in the Middle East and Africa for on-time arrival performance, achieving a rate of 91.77% across more than 5,900 flights.
