IHCL announces the signing of Vivanta in Jaipur
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced a new Vivanta hotel in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The 160-key property in Jagatpura, near Jaipur Airport, will feature restaurants, rooftop dining, a gym, pool, spa, and conference facilities. Slated to boost business and MICE tourism, the hotel marks IHCL’s 31st property in Rajasthan. The project is a partnership with Wonder Build Developers, reinforcing IHCL’s strategy to expand in metro cities and state capitals across India’s growing markets.
Cygnett expands in Northeast with Guwahati Hotel
Cygnett Hotels & Resorts will open its ninth Northeast property, Cygnett Park Guwahati by July 2026. Located near Meghalaya’s border, the 108-room hotel will feature rooftop dining, a spa, banquets, and a pool. Positioned near Guwahati Airport and city centre, the hotel aims to attract business travellers, tourists, and destination weddings. Cygnett is strengthening its Northeast presence amid the region’s economic boom, targeting 2,000 keys there by 2029, with plans for 12-15 new hotels annually.
Dubai Airports rolls out ‘DXB Greet & Go’ – smart QR code pickup at Terminal 3
At Dubai International (DXB) Terminal 3, Dubai Airports has introduced a new smart pickup service called DXB Greet & Go. This new solution replaces traditional guest paging with a smooth, tech-enabled experience, specifically for guests arriving in Dubai with pre-booked hotel, limousine, or tour operator services. DXB Greet & Go allows visitors to Terminal 3 to examine information about their allocated driver and vehicle, including parking position and vehicle registration number, by just scanning a special QR code at the specified kiosk.
Ankit Agarwal Teams Up with Wyndham to Launch Second Hotel in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh
M/s Ankit Agarwal announced a collaboration with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to build a new Ramada by Wyndham hotel in Bareilly, marking a major stride in the city’s hospitality development. The hotel will be built as a greenfield project and will include 80 contemporary guest rooms. The hotel will have a full range of services, such as meeting rooms, a fitness centre, all-day dining, and a number of business and leisure facilities, in order to cater to the demands of both business and leisure travellers
