Osaka Kabir Yatra to bring Rajasthani Sufi-Folk Music to Japan
The Malang Folk Foundation, in collaboration with Indian Ocean World Studies program at the University of Osaka, will present the Osaka Kabir Yatra from 5th to 12th July 2025 across Osaka and Kyoto. This international edition of Rajasthan Kabir Yatra will feature spiritual songs of Bhakti and Sufi saints like Kabir, Meera, and Bulleh Shah. Led by Manganiyar vocalist Sakur Khan and curated by Nikita Tiwari, the Yatra will include concerts, student seminars, and musical workshops.
