Hong Kong Tourism Board presented Hello Hong Kong campaign in India
The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) successfully staged large scale trade outreach in India through a 2-city MICE roadshow and at the Hong Kong Pavilion at SATTE 2023, with an objective of introducing Hello Hong Kong campaign, provide latest updates about the Hong Kong’s new developments, new experiences, new tourism opportunities and to reactivate Hong Kong – India travel trade to explore business opportunities. HKTB led a delegation of 18 Hong Kong trade partners on a 2-city MICE roadshow that saw participation from over 140 key India MICE travel trade partners who reconnected with the Hong Kong stakeholders.
Nandi Hills Ropeway (Bengaluru) to minimise Carbon footprint
Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka has signed a concession agreement for development of PassengerRopeway at Nandi Hills with Dyanamicx Ropeway, for a project cost ofRs. 93.40 Crores. The much-awaited project with an alignment of approximately 2.93 km will be developed on Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The fast and environment-friendly transportation facility like ropeway will save the time to reach Nandi Hills and will reduce pollution in the area apart from offering scenic aerial view of the surrounding area.
Jazeera Airways announces record annual profits of KD20.1 million for 2022
Jazeera Airways has announced record net profits of KD20.1 million for the year 2022, an increase of 183.6% over 2021. Operating revenues for 2022 increased to KD182.116 million, up 126.5%, and operating profit increased by 148.4% to KD26.8 million. With the resumption of operations at the Kuwait International Airport (KIA), the airline built on its quick return to profitability in the second half of 2021. During 2022, Jazeera also exceeded 2019 performance; which was the last comparable full year of unrestricted operations, by 30%.
Red Sea Global marks successful debut at SATTE 2023
Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer behind one of the most ambitious regenerative tourism destinations, The Red Sea and Amaala, marked a successful debut at SATTE. The strategy follows RSG’s continuing efforts to reinforce their presence in the India market.
