Oman Air revises fuel surcharge on international flights
Oman Air has revised fuel surcharges on its international flights following a sharp rise in aviation jet fuel prices and continued volatility in global energy markets. The surcharge has increased by up to 160% and is already applicable across its international network, except Europe, where it will take effect from March 19, 2026. Domestic flights remain excluded, while tickets issued before the applicable dates will not be affected unless voluntarily reissued.
The Leela enters Coorg with ultra-luxury Forest Sanctuary
The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts has announced the acquisition of an ultra-luxury resort in Coorg, Karnataka, to be unveiled later this year as The Leela Coorg Forest Sanctuary. Spread across 76 acres near Madikeri, the 71 all-villa property marks the brand’s first Sanctuary concept. Featuring a 27,000 sq. ft. wellness centre, four dining venues, a private helipad and a seven-acre lake, it strengthens The Leela’s nature-led luxury portfolio.
