MakeMyTrip Foundation launches ‘Ruh-e-Gul’ for sustainable Gulmarg
MakeMyTrip Foundation has partnered with the Gulmarg Development Authority (GDA) and The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa to launch ‘Ruh-e-Gul’, a waste management and responsible tourism initiative in Gulmarg. The project will strengthen waste collection and processing infrastructure, upgrade Material Recovery Facilities and a bio-gas plant, restore dumping sites, improve public spaces, and drive awareness campaigns encouraging tourists, businesses and local communities to preserve the Himalayan destination’s fragile ecosystem.
