Bintan Resorts, Vanilla Hospitality and Air India, the airline partner, jointly organised a corporate familiarisation trip to Bintan, Indonesia, from September 2 to 6, 2026. Vanilla Hospitality and Air India facilitated the participation of senior representatives from leading companies across the pharmaceuticals, life sciences, energy, manufacturing, consumer goods, aviation, hospitality, travel services and event-management sectors.
The programme was designed to introduce the delegation to Bintan’s potential for conferences, corporate gatherings, off-sites, employee-engagement programmes and leadership retreats. Participants explored the destination’s resort portfolio, meeting and event spaces, dining options and group activities.
Located in Indonesia’s Riau Archipelago, Bintan Resorts is accessible by ferry from Singapore, allowing corporate groups from India to combine international air connectivity with an island setting. The itinerary demonstrated how formal business sessions could be complemented by team-building activities, wellness, recreation, nature and beachfront experiences.

It enabled participants to evaluate Bintan from a planning perspective and understand how its different elements could be incorporated into future corporate programmes.
