A true global citizen and son of Spanish diplomats, Stuart grew up immersed in the world of prestigious hotels, which inspired his lifelong passion for meaningful hospitality. After building his academic foundation in France, he went on to redefine bespoke service standards over the last three decades with iconic luxury brands including
St. Regis and
Conrad, across destinations spanning from
Cannes to Bora Bora.
In 2023, Stuart joined Minor Hotels as Cluster General Manager, overseeing Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas, Avani+ Fares Maldives, and the introduction of the NH and NH Collection brands in the Maldives. At Kihavah—consistently ranked among the world’s top resorts—he spearheaded exceptional guest experiences such as underwater wine tastings, overwater astronomy sessions, and tailored journeys for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, while simultaneously driving revenue growth and direct sales excellence.
Now, Stuart is set to bring his visionary approach to Anantara Koh Yao Yai Resort & Villas, recently recognised as one of TIME’s World’s Greatest Places of 2025. Set along a private one-kilometre beach, the resort offers an all-suite and pool-villa concept designed around privacy, discovery, and connection.
