The Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its 13th chapter in Uttarakhand on April 22, 2024. The inauguration ceremony, held at Hotel Moniack Garden in Dehradun, witnessed the presence of esteemed delegates led by Mr. PP Khanna, President of ADTOI, alongside other office bearers.
The event was graced by senior state tourism officials including Ms. Poonam Chand, Additional Director of Tourism, and Mr. Yogendera Kumar Gangwar, Joint Director Tourism. Mr. Sandeep Sahni, President of the Hotel Association of Uttarakhand, and Mr. Bhaskar Dimri, Member of Badri & Kedarnath Temples Committee, also attended the ceremony.
Under the leadership of Mr. Mahender Ghildiyal from Mahendra Destinations Pvt. Ltd as Chapter Chairman, the Uttarakhand Chapter aims to promote the state’s rich tourism potential. Mr. Khanna highlighted Uttarakhand’s significance as a hub for pilgrimage and spiritual tourism, emphasizing the allure of the state’s four Dhams and its abundant wildlife and hill stations.
Ms. Poonam Chand praised the opening of the ADTOI Chapter in Uttarakhand, foreseeing a significant boost in domestic tourism for the state.
With Mr. Khanna’s vision to foster networking among ADTOI members nationwide and promote Uttarakhand’s tourism, the inauguration signifies a promising partnership to enhance tourism prospects in the region.
