The award was presented at a ceremony held on 26 June 2026 at Dragon Pearl Cave (Hang Ngọc Rồng), a 150-million-year-old natural cave landmark set within the limestone landscape of Cam Pha, Quang Ninh, on the edge of Bai Tu Long Bay. Organized under the theme “Influential Asia”, the Asia Hospitality Awards honoured outstanding projects across the region’s travel and hospitality industry that are shaping benchmarks and fostering collaboration across Asia’s tourism landscape.
Jandec Asia Travel offers a comprehensive portfolio of inbound destination management services, including tailor-made FIT journeys, group departures, MICE programmes, honeymoon packages, and immersive cultural experiences designed specifically for Indian travellers and their preferences. What sets the company apart is its direct access to APC Corporation’s integrated hospitality ecosystem. Unlike most DMCs that rely on third-party operators, Jandec provides seamless access to proprietary tourism assets such as Ambassador Cruise on Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay, Dragon Pearl Cave in Quảng Ninh, and Viet Deli Restaurants. Reinforcing its commitment to the Indian market, Jandec operates dedicated Indian culinary programmes across its APC-owned properties, offering authentic Indian cuisine alongside signature Vietnamese fare. This unique, kitchen-level focus on Indian tastes, rare among regional DMCs, has made Jandec a preferred partner for Indian travel companies organising leisure groups, MICE programmes, destination weddings, and bespoke travel experiences across Indochina.
Over the past year, Jandec Asia Travel has strengthened its position in the Indian market through strategic participation in leading travel trade platforms like OTM Mumbai, expanded partnerships with Indian travel companies, and enhanced its portfolio of signature experiences. Building on this momentum, the company is now doubling down on the Indian market with its participation at TTF Kolkata, recognising eastern India as one of the country’s fastest-growing outbound travel markets and a key source of demand for Vietnam and the wider Indochina region.
As the Strategic MICE and Global Events Partner at Dragon Pearl Cave, Jandec has also played a role in transforming the site into a cultural destination, where a 3D mapping show is projected onto the cave’s natural walls and guests dine beneath ancient stalactites as the legends of Ha Long Bay are brought to life through light, sound and cuisine. Earlier in 2026, working with Ambassador Cruise and Dragon Pearl Cave, the company hosted a high-profile private wedding for an elite Indian couple, reflecting a growing trend of Indian travellers choosing Vietnam for landmark private events.
Commenting on the recognition, Cong Vu, General Director at Jandec Asia Travel, said:
“ Receiving this honour for the second consecutive year is both a privilege and a responsibility. This recognition reflects the trust our partners and travellers have placed in us and reaffirms our commitment to delivering authentic, meaningful, and world-class experiences across Vietnam and Indochina. India has consistently been our most important source market, and every decision we make at Jandec starts with the Indian traveller. This year, we are tripling the size of our India-dedicated Travel Experts team from 2025, strengthening guest privileges across every touchpoint, and expanding our portfolio of premium 4- and 5-star partner properties in Phu Quoc, Da Nang, Ninh Binh and Ha Long. Our goal is to provide deeper and more dependable access to Indochina than any other DMC. As India’s outbound travel market continues to grow, we remain committed to building stronger bridges between India and Indochina while showcasing the extraordinary heritage, hospitality, and experiences our region has to offer.”
Sunil Mathapati, Director, Intrepid Marketing and Communications, reiterated “We are delighted to represent Jandec Asia Travel in the Indian market for the past four years and sincerely thank them for their continued trust and partnership. This prestigious recognition is an encouragement for the team in India and Vietnam who have worked together to strengthen Jandec’s presence among the Indian travel trade. We look forward to continuing this successful journey and help more Indian travellers discover the richness and diversity of Vietnam. Cambodia and Laos through Jandec’s exceptional offerings.”
India’s outbound travel market is one of the fastest-growing in the world, and Jandec sees Indochina as a region of significant untapped potential for Indian travellers. Having served more than 20,000 guests with its dedicated team of destination specialists, Jandec Asia Travel continues to focus on sustainable growth, operational excellence, and cultural authenticity. Looking ahead, the DMC plans to expand its signature products, curate deeper cultural journeys across Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, and continue growing its partnership with the Indian travel trade.
