
The event was graced by His Excellency Mr. Jhakka Prasad Acharya, Consul General of Nepal for West Bengal, who attended as the Chief Guest. The programme was organized by the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA), Gandaki Province, Nepal, with the Enterprising Travel Agents Association (ETAA), Eastern Chapter, serving as the Supporting Association Partner.

The B2B Sales Mission provided a valuable platform for networking and business interactions among tourism professionals, tour operators, travel agents, hoteliers, and destination management companies from both countries. Delegates from Pokhara highlighted the region’s diverse tourism offerings, including adventure tourism, wellness retreats, cultural experiences, pilgrimage circuits, nature-based tourism, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) opportunities.
Addressing the gathering, H.E. Mr. Acharya emphasized the strong cultural and people-to-people ties between India and Nepal. He noted that tourism plays a vital role in further strengthening bilateral relations and encouraged Indian travelers to experience the natural beauty, warm hospitality, and unique attractions of Pokhara and the Gandaki Province.

Representatives from NATTA Gandaki Province shared updates on recent tourism developments, improved connectivity, and new experiences available for international visitors. They highlighted Pokhara’s growing appeal as a destination for leisure, adventure, wellness, and experiential travel.
Speaking on the occasion, representatives of ETAA Eastern Chapter reaffirmed their commitment to promoting cross-border tourism collaborations and increasing awareness of Nepal’s tourism potential among Indian travelers and travel trade professionals.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from travel trade representatives across Eastern India and concluded with a series of productive B2B meetings aimed at fostering future partnerships, enhancing tourism exchanges, and increasing tourist traffic between India and Nepal.
The successful initiative marks another significant step toward strengthening tourism cooperation between the two neighboring countries and positioning Pokhara as a preferred destination for travelers seeking authentic, diverse, and enriching experiences.
