Prior to this role, Akshay was associated with JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, where he successfully led sales operations and strengthened the hotel’s group rooms and catering business. His expertise spans revenue management, reservations, room sales, corporate and MICE business, leisure travel, weddings, and travel trade. At JW Marriott Goa, he will focus on driving commercial performance, enhancing brand visibility, and identifying new growth opportunities.
A graduate in Hotel Management from Mangalore University, Akshay has been recognized with prestigious accolades, including the BW Hotelier Sales Leader of the Year – West Zone 2024 and the Marriott International President’s Circle APEC Top Performer Award in 2024 and 2025. Known for his strategic leadership and passion for luxury hospitality, he brings a strong vision for elevating guest experiences and business success at JW Marriott Goa.
