A family legacy rooted in Mykonos
I represent the Myconian Collection, a family-run hospitality group that began its journey in the 1970s. Today, we have 15 luxury hotels, all located in prime spots across the island of Mykonos.
I work alongside my three brothers, Panos, Markos and Vangelis, and together we continue the vision established by our father. Each of us is actively involved in the group’s development and daily operations, ensuring that our growth remains personal, considered and deeply connected to the island.
What makes us unique is that we are completely focused on Mykonos. We believe in being hands-on, ensuring every guest receives the highest level of personalised luxury service. Being rooted here for decades allows us to combine international standards with authentic island hospitality in a way that feels genuine rather than staged.
Luxury for every kind of traveller
All our hotels are five-star, but each is thoughtfully positioned to cater to different guest profiles: families travelling across generations, honeymooners seeking privacy and romance, younger travellers drawn to Mykonos’ vibrant social scene, as well as celebration groups and high-end event clientele.
Our portfolio is carefully structured. Some properties are close to Mykonos Town, ideal for guests who want immediate access to nightlife, fine dining, and shopping. Others are set along the island’s most beautiful beaches, offering tranquillity, space, and privacy: perfect for families or couples seeking a more secluded escape. We also welcome discerning international travellers, including high-net-worth individuals, villa guests requiring tailored services, and groups combining leisure with celebration.
Dedicated MICE & wedding resorts
For weddings, incentive trips, corporate gatherings and large-scale celebrations, we have developed a specialised collection of nine properties:
- Royal
- Imperial
- Avaton
- Utopia
- Villas
- Panoptis
- Kirki
- Deos
- Sunrise
These resorts are designed not only for beautiful settings, but for operational excellence. We offer purpose-built event venues, flexible indoor and outdoor spaces, panoramic terraces overlooking the Aegean, state-of-the-art technical infrastructure, and experienced on-site planning teams. The advantage of having multiple hotels within close proximity also allows us to host large guest lists while maintaining seamless coordination and consistent service standard.
India: A growing focus market
The Indian market is relatively new for us as we began focusing on it just a year ago.
We see strong potential, especially with Indian families travelling together, honeymooners looking for romantic island escapes, and even emerging interest in Mykonos as a MICE destination.
We have already hosted a few Indian weddings in the past, particularly for Indians based in the UK, and many of those guests have returned later for vacations.
The rise of experience-driven travel
Post-COVID, travel has changed significantly. People today want to truly live life. I see guests spending more willingly, not for luxury alone, but for unforgettable experiences. They want moments that go onto their bucket lists, and cost is no longer the biggest concern.
Our role as hoteliers is to safeguard and elevate those expectations. We understand that a holiday is often the result of months of anticipation, and our responsibility is to honour that trust by delivering seamless, memorable experiences that exceed expectations.
Kirki: Our newest addition by the sea
This May, we are opening our newest hotel, Kirki which completes our premium cluster.
Kirki is located on Elia Beach, one of the most celebrated stretches of coastline in Mykonos. It sits directly by the seaside, offering true beachfront luxury. Alongside refined accommodation, the property will introduce a major new beach restaurant concept, enhancing the culinary landscape of the area. With Kirki, guests will experience the signature Myconian service in its most immersive seaside setting, where architecture, landscape and hospitality blend effortlessly with the natural beauty of Elia.
Sustainability and responsible hospitality
Sustainability is an ongoing commitment for us, not a trend. As a family deeply connected to Mykonos, we feel personally responsible for protecting the island’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.
Our hotels are affiliated with leading global luxury associations that uphold strict environmental and operational standards. Across the collection, we implement energy-efficient systems, responsible water management practices, waste reduction initiatives, and partnerships with local producers to reduce our footprint while supporting the island’s economy.
Beyond environmental stewardship, our commitment extends meaningfully to the island’s social fabric. Over the years, the family has invested in education infrastructure, healthcare enhancement, cultural heritage restoration and archaeological research on Mykonos. We see hospitality as inseparable from community engagement. For us, responsible growth means giving back to Mykonos in ways that safeguard both its future and its identity.
A taste of India in Mykonos
One exciting step this year is the launch of the first Indian restaurant within our collection, opening at Korali Hotel. It will begin with a curated menu of approximately ten dishes—an elegant introduction to Indian cuisine designed to resonate with Indian travellers while also appealing to our international guests who appreciate diverse culinary experiences.
Mykonos: Home away from home for Indians
I believe Indian travellers feel a natural affinity with Greece. Both cultures place great value on family, hospitality, and shared experiences. When Indians choose Greece, and especially Mykonos, they feel safe, welcomed, and connected to the warmth of local hospitality. Mykonos is ideal for a four-to-five-day stay, and its strong boat and flight connections also allow for seamless island hopping.
Looking ahead
We look forward to welcoming more Indian travellers—honeymooners, families, celebration groups, and corporate delegates—to Mykonos. As I often say, the destination always comes first. Our mission is to ensure that every visitor leaves not only with beautiful photographs, but with genuine memories and a sense of having experienced something truly special.
