With over two decades of experience across luxury, upscale, and economy hospitality, Sachin brings a rare blend of operational depth, people leadership, and brand-building expertise. His career spans hotel pre-openings, large-scale renovations, food and beverage innovation, and driving performance across diverse market conditions. In his new role, he will oversee the ibis portfolio in Mumbai, with a clear focus on strengthening day-to-day operations, elevating guest experiences, and building sustainable, long-term growth for the brand in the city.
Commenting on the appointment, Tejus Jose, Director of Operations, ibis and ibis Styles India, said, “Sachin is a leader who understands hotels from the inside out. He has a strong feel for operations, a genuine connection with people, and a sharp sense of how brands need to evolve to stay relevant. We believe Sachin’s experience, energy, and collaborative leadership style will help our hotels raise the bar on performance, guest satisfaction, and consistency across the portfolio.”
Sachin has held senior leadership roles with both Accor and IHCL, where he led multiple hotel pre-openings, managed complex renovation projects, and built award-winning food and beverage concepts. Most recently, he served as General Manager of Novotel Goa Resort and Spa and Novotel Goa Candolim, while also taking on the role of F&B Alchemist for Accor India and South Asia. In this regional role, he worked closely with teams across markets to drive culinary innovation, strengthen brand storytelling, and create more engaging guest experiences.
