Indian Army opens new tourist facility at Shipki La
The Indian Army has inaugurated a new tourist facility at Namgya in the Shipki La sector of Himachal Pradesh to boost border tourism and improve visitor access. Built on a sustainable community development model, the initiative was dedicated by Lt Gen DG Misra, GOC Uttar Bharat. As shared by the Army’s Surya Command, earnings generated from the facility will support online coaching for meritorious students from Namgya, Khab, and Tashigang villages.
MP tourism highlights heritage & spiritual trails at FITUR 2026
Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board showcased the state’s diverse travel experiences at FITUR 2026 with the unveiling of its pavilion. The platform created opportunities for global partnerships and meaningful industry interactions. Visitors explored Madhya Pradesh’s heritage landmarks, wildlife destinations, spiritual circuits, adventure options, and vibrant cultural offerings. The pavilion was inaugurated by Cherakung Zeliang, Counsellor (Consular, PIC) & HOC, reinforcing the state’s focus on expanding its international tourism footprint through strategic engagement.
Air India Super League returns with New Cargo edition
Air India has announced Season 2 of the Air India Super League, its pan-India cricket tournament for valued business partners. This year’s edition features an expanded format and introduces an inaugural Super League for cargo partners. Travel partner matches will begin in Kolkata, followed by Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and New Delhi, with the semi-finals and finals scheduled for February 15, 2026, in New Delhi.
