During the inauguration, Mr. Jain also opened the “Village Vibes” Exhibition, a colourful showcase highlighting the state’s rural tourism initiatives. The exhibition brought to life the charm of Madhya Pradesh’s villages through live demonstrations, cultural performances, and traditional crafts. Eminent actor Raghubir Yadav and Additional Chief Secretary, Tourism and Culture, Sheo Shekhar Shukla, were also present at the occasion.
Mr. Jain appreciated the creative effort behind the exhibition and the state’s commitment to empowering local communities. He interacted with young women trained under the Safe Tourism for Women initiative and explored thematic installations like “Maa Ki Rasoi” (a traditional rural kitchen), block printing, Chanderi weaving, souvenir stalls, and live Gond painting sessions. He was accorded a warm welcome with traditional dhol and flute performances.As part of the B2B event, the Chief Secretary met with homestay operators from across Madhya Pradesh — including Vanraj Homestay, Palash Villa Pench, Jyamshi Homestay, Vedika Hill Homestay, and Grand Narmada Homestay — commending their entrepreneurial spirit and innovative efforts to offer authentic rural experiences.
Mr. Jain also interacted with domestic and international tour operators, hoteliers, and investors, encouraging them to explore new business collaborations and investment opportunities in the state. He shared insights on Madhya Pradesh’s new tourism policy, emphasizing the government’s focus on sustainable tourism, skill development, and infrastructure growth.The event saw the presence of Dr. Ilayaraja T., Managing Director, MPSTDC, Bidisha Mukherjee, Additional Managing Director, MP Tourism Board, senior officials, and a large gathering of domestic and international travel trade representatives.
