“Summer has always remained the peak season for tourists to pack their bags and travel to their choice of destination. The peak travel season typically aligns with the summer holidays from May to July, witnessing the highest volume of visa applications. Year-on-year data shows an average volume growth of 15-20%, reflecting the steadily rising demand for international travel. The trend that we are witnessing now is that Spain is emerging as one of the high-profile countries in Europe for Indians. The US, Europe, and North America remain the top priority for the Indians to visit. They are keen to explore new countries like Slovakia. Traffic to Italy, and France are also attracting a lot of Indian tourists.”
