Air India enters interline partnership with Alaska Airlines
Air India has entered an interline partnership with Alaska Airlines. The partnership, while strengthening Air India’s international network, will allow Air India guests to avail seamless connections from New York JFK, Newark-New Jersey, Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco, and Vancouver gateways to and from 32 destinations in the USA, Mexico, and Canada on Alaska Airline’s network.

Scoot commences daily operations to Chennai
Scoot has announced the commencement of daily flights between Chennai and Singapore from November 5, 2023. The addition of this direct flight on the airline’s Airbus A320 aircraft will enhance the international accessibility of Chennai and connect domestic business and leisure travellers to Scoot’s wider network in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Europe.
IndiGo reports a profit of INR 8,061 million
For four consecutive quarters, IndiGo has delivered profitable growth. For the quarter ending September 2023, seasonally the weakest quarter, IndiGo reported a profit of INR 8,061 million excluding foreign exchange loss. Including a foreign exchange loss of INR 6,171 million, net profit for the quarter aggregated to INR 1,889 million.
