India is not just a volume market for us; it is a high-value, high-potential luxury market.
What is the USP of Union Resorts?

2025 has been very encouraging. Indian arrivals to our properties have shown a strong year-on-year growth, especially in the premium leisure and celebratory travel segments. For 2026, our vision is to deepen partnerships in India, focus on bespoke experiences, and position Sri Lanka as the preferred luxury alternative to other short-haul destinations.
How important is the MICE and Wedding segment?
The MICE and wedding segment remains a strategic priority for us. The Blue Water, with its scale and beachfront setting, is ideal for destination weddings and corporate incentives. Water Garden Sigiriya caters to intimate, ultra-luxury weddings and high-end leadership retreats. India remains a key driver in both segments. Glenross Living serves as a distinctive venue for intimate celebratory travel, offering a highly personalised and secluded experience for smaller groups.
